Tiger Woods has won the 108th US Open at Torrey Pines, after a thrilling sudden death play-off victory over Rocco Mediate. It came down to a nail biting finish with the 45 year old needing to sink a 20 foot putt to become the oldest winner of the US Open.
Tiger had already got his par at the first sudden death hole so as the gallery hushed the stage was set at the seventh hole.
